Welcome to Moonlit Hub. These Terms of Service explain the basic rules that apply when you use this website or purchase services from Moonlit Hub.
By using this website or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Moonlit Hub provides website design, development, customization, troubleshooting, consulting, and related digital services.
The exact work included in a project will be based on the service selected and any additional scope agreed upon before or during the project.

Client Responsibilities
To complete your project, Moonlit Hub may need information, content, images, files, account access, approvals, or feedback from you.
You are responsible for providing requested materials and information within a reasonable timeframe.
You are also responsible for making sure you have permission to use any text, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, files, or other material you provide for your project.
If you hand me somebody else’s photograph and tell me it’s yours, I have no reasonable way of knowing that it isn’t.
Please don’t do that.
Project Scope
Your project includes the work described in the service, package, proposal, or other agreement associated with your purchase.
Requests that substantially change or expand the original project may require additional work, additional payment, or a separate project.
Small changes happen.
Turning a five-page website into Amazon halfway through the project is somewhat less small.
If something falls outside the agreed scope, we’ll discuss it before additional paid work begins.
Payments
Prices and payment requirements will be provided before paid work begins.
Third-party payment processors may be used to securely process payments. Moonlit Hub does not intentionally store complete payment-card information on its own website.
Any applicable third-party payment processor terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Moonlit Hub Refund & Cancellation Policy.
That policy is incorporated into these Terms.
Revisions & Approval
Projects may include revisions as described in the applicable service or project agreement.
You are responsible for reviewing work and providing reasonably clear feedback.
Approval of completed work indicates that you have reviewed and accepted it, subject to any rights described in the applicable service agreement or Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Third-Party Products & Services
Projects may use or integrate third-party products or services such as WordPress, hosting providers, plugins, themes, payment processors, domain registrars, email providers, APIs, or other platforms.
Moonlit Hub does not control those third parties and cannot guarantee their continued availability, pricing, compatibility, security, policies, or future behavior.
If a third-party company decides tomorrow that the feature you’ve used for five years now costs $79 a month, I unfortunately do not get a vote.
Where practical, I will try to warn you about dependencies that could reasonably affect your project.
Licenses & Ongoing Costs
Some websites require third-party licenses, hosting, domain registration, subscriptions, transaction fees, or other ongoing costs.
When Moonlit Hub knows that a requested feature requires an additional recurring or third-party expense, that should be disclosed before it is intentionally added to the project.
You are responsible for third-party charges you approve and for maintaining licenses or subscriptions required after project completion unless we specifically agree otherwise.
Website Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed, after the project has been paid for in full, you own the custom website content and project-specific work created for you to the extent those rights can legally be transferred.
Moonlit Hub retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, code, systems, reusable components, templates, methods, know-how, branding, and other materials that were not created exclusively for your project.
Third-party software, fonts, images, plugins, themes, libraries, and similar materials remain subject to their respective licenses.
Portfolio Use
Unless we agree otherwise, Moonlit Hub may identify completed public projects as examples of its work and may display reasonable screenshots, descriptions, or links in a portfolio.
Private information, passwords, unpublished materials, private administrative screens, customer data, and other confidential information will not intentionally be displayed as portfolio material.
If you need a project kept out of the portfolio, tell me.
I’m building websites, not collecting hostages.
Backups & Client Copies
Moonlit Hub may maintain working copies or temporary backups while a project is active, but clients should maintain their own backups after project completion unless ongoing backup services are specifically included.
Moonlit Hub cannot guarantee indefinite storage of project files after a project has been completed.
Security
Moonlit Hub takes reasonable care when working with websites, credentials, files, and client information.
No website or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Clients are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, keeping their own accounts protected, and maintaining appropriate security after control of a completed project is returned or transferred to them.
Accessibility & Compatibility
Moonlit Hub makes reasonable efforts to build usable, accessible websites and to follow appropriate web and WordPress practices.
However, no website can be guaranteed to work identically on every device, browser, assistive technology, hosting environment, or future software version.
Unless specifically included in the project scope, Moonlit Hub does not guarantee compliance with a particular accessibility certification or legal standard.
No Guaranteed Business Results
A website can be beautiful, fast, organized, accessible, and technically sound and still cannot force people to buy things.
Moonlit Hub does not guarantee particular search-engine rankings, traffic levels, sales, revenue, conversions, audience growth, or other business results unless a specific written agreement expressly says otherwise.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Moonlit Hub will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from use of the website or services.
Moonlit Hub is also not responsible for failures, outages, security incidents, policy changes, discontinued services, or other actions caused by third-party providers outside Moonlit Hub’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
Information about how Moonlit Hub collects and handles personal information is available in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as Moonlit Hub’s services, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The Last Updated date at the top will indicate when the Terms were most recently revised.
Changes will apply prospectively to use of the website and future services unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
